駅の構内にある「口熊野かみとんだ観光案内所」の委託運営をしています。所内のKumano　Berryの売店では、 熊野やまももジュースやソーダのテイクアウト、上富田町マスコットキャラクターのひょうたんせんぱいグッズや、地元のお土産なども販売しています。

上富田では町木として「山桃」が知られていますが、やまももと聞いても「どんな味だろう…」と思う方が多いです。甘酸っぱさがありとても爽やかな果実です。収穫できるのは6月中旬ごろから7月上旬頃までのほんの数日間。収穫後は傷みが早いので「幻の果実」「赤い宝石」と呼ばれています。加工して「熊野やまももしろっぷ」として販売しています。熊野で採れたやまももをぜひ味わいに来てください。水、ソーダ割からビールやジンなどのお酒と割って呑んでも相性抜群です。

We operate the "Kuchikumano Kamitonda Tourist Information Center" on consignment within the station. The Kumano Berry store sells Kumano Yamamomo juice and soda to take out, goods of Kamitonda's mascot character, Hyotansenpai, and local souvenirs.

In Kamitonda, "Yamamomo" is known as the town tree, but many people wonder what it tastes like when they hear the word "Yamamomo...". It is a very refreshing fruit with a sweet and sour taste. They can be harvested for only a few days from around mid-June to early July. After harvesting, they are called "phantom fruit" and "red gems" because they are damaged quickly. They are processed and sold as "Kumano Yamamomo Shiroppu. Please come and taste the Yamamomo harvested in Kumano. It goes well with water, soda, beer, gin, and other alcoholic beverages.
